 Hello Zach, Unfortunately I didn't have time to finish for today but I think I am on the right path now. like you suggested I went back and sketched out my design in more detail and then made a clown pass to help render the hard surfaces. I wish I made use of the clown pass earlier because I think it has helped a lot. I've just rendered the knee pad so far as an example, and I will continue working on this piece going forward. 

Thank you so much for all the classes, they have been so helpful for improving my work and techniques, I have learned a lot.

Jahon - this is my WIP. I haven't gotten to adding ornamental details yet.

I am unsure of color.

Hi Zach, I am currently dealing with some computer problems so I am not progressing as fast as I want to. I am still going to clean up the hands and the clothing. Besides that I also want to add more detail to the sheath of the sword. I will watch the recording back, thank you for all your feedback!

Thank you for your pointers last class! It really helped. Spent more time on the face as expected this week, here is the result:

(I know I have a big manga influence, here I aimed for a semi-realistic style)

I would like to attend live for the final course to say thank you properly. But I have a busy week with super important family matters to attend to, so I'm crossing my fingers!

Okay okay! Here's as far as I could go for today's class (didn't got much time this week and literally spent all Sunday doing this 😖). Of course it needs more time, I'll finish it all for next week. 


I would love to know which background works best! For me white looks better but i might be wrong hehe!!)

Should I photobash a texture? Or maybe leave it as it is? What would you recommend? Thanks!

Hi Zach, this week I tried some photobashing like you suggested. Sometimes I feel its hard to know what to photobash or not. My next goal is to make everything more sharp and add some details. I found it hard to figure out the lighting of the shirt/coat and pants. I will watch the recording back tomorrow. Thank you in advance for the feedback!

Hello Zach! I hope you a great week. This is my project, I pushed it as much as I could since there's only one week left. 

I edited out some things from the first sketch, cause I feel it was too much and it was going to steal to attention. There's also a lot of "weight" on her hips. But I might add a few ripped fabrics on the horns and complete the wooden spear.

I corrected the pose and added colour this week. I'm still struggling with the face, the nose especially, so I'm wondering what would you do to make it better?
